In order to be eligible for a refund, once an order is place, a written request must be submitted within 7 days, through email, to DetroitElectricBikeCo@gmail.com
After 7 days, upon placing an order, the e-bike is considered officially paid for and sent in for manufacturing. You, at that point, become a “backer” towards our bikes pre-order campaigns. No refunds will be issue afterwards and the buyer is legally bound to sale of the bike, with shipping costs
After we receive your bike (preorders are taken up to 4-5 months or more to process), from the manufacturer, our team of professionals will inspect everything and process the order to ship your fantastic, Detroit Electric Bike Company’s e-bike, right to your home or business (continental US orders only)
If upon receiving your e-bike and it is damaged in any way, you have 30 days to return the product for service. At this time we DO NOT offer money back refunds, but will be glad to repair or replace your e-bike FREE of charge.
When we receive your e-bike for service, we will make sure you are satisfied and ship your e-bike back in new, running, condition. That shipping back to you is free, but you must pay to ship the bike to us for service, or replacement …..if you purchased a new bike
We are NOT responsible for any damage you may incur because of carelessly riding your new ebike. We recommend all of our expensive e-bikes we sell be insured, but that is the customers responsibility ….we don’t refund, repair, or replace, in that circumstance.
